AIT Impact & Updates
🔹At a farewell reception by the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange, AIT Director Raymond Greene and FSE Executive Director Dr. Randall Nadeau celebrated nearly 140 Fulbright grantees from Taiwan and the U.S. Taiwanese grantees will travel to the U.S. for research or teaching, while American grantees conclude their year in Taiwan. These grantees highlight strong U.S.-Taiwan ties. Best wishes were extended to all.
AIT Director Visits NASA's Johnson Space Center
🔹AIT Director Raymond Greene and his team visited NASA's Johnson Space Center, meeting Dr. Kjell N. Lindgren, the first Taiwan-born NASA astronaut. Lindgren shared his experiences capturing images of Taiwan from space. The visit highlighted NASA’s facilities, international collaborations, and research. Taiwan and NASA have a strong history of space collaboration, including joint satellite missions and contributions to the International Space Station. Lindgren’s story emphasizes the growing U.S.-Taiwan partnership in space exploration.
